Policies, guidelines, and terms for expeditions with Tastura Trekking.

Welcome to Tastura Trekking. By booking a trekking service through our website, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to all of the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before making a reservation.
1. Registration and Services
- Registration must be completed through the official reservation form provided by Tastura Trekking.
- Participants are required to pay a deposit of 30% of the total trip cost.
- The remaining balance must be paid before the trip begins.
- Tastura Trekking will issue an official confirmation once the payment is received.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation by Participant:
- More than 30 days before departure: 75% refund of the paid deposit.
- 15–30 days before departure: 50% refund of the paid deposit.
- Less than 15 days before departure: no refund from the deposit (non-refundable).
- Participants may appoint a replacement if unable to attend, by informing Tastura Trekking no later than 3 days before departure.
- Cancellation by Tastura Trekking:
- We reserve the right to cancel the trip if the minimum quota of participants is not met.
- Cancellation may also occur due to force majeure (natural disasters, riots, pandemics, etc.).
- Paid funds will be refunded 100% excluding any non-recoverable expenses already incurred.
3. Schedule, Route Changes & Force Majeure
- Schedule and Route Changes: Tastura Trekking may adjust the itinerary or schedule for the safety and comfort of participants. Any changes will be communicated to participants as early as possible.
- Force Majeure: Tastura Trekking is not liable for delays, cancellations, or losses caused by uncontrollable circumstances (extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, etc.).
4. Participant Responsibilities & Agreement
- Maintain respectful behavior, adhere to local customs, and follow instructions from Tastura Trekking staff or guides.
- Take care of personal belongings throughout the trip.
- Disclose any relevant medical history if applicable.
- Be personally responsible for any incidents resulting from negligence.
- Agreement: By registering, participants are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to all of these terms and conditions.
5. Travel Insurance & Documentation
- Travel Insurance: Participants are encouraged to have personal travel insurance. Tastura Trekking does not provide insurance unless explicitly included in the trip package.
- Documentation: Tastura Trekking reserves the right to use trip documentation (photos/videos) for promotional purposes. If a participant objects, they must submit a written request prior to departure.
6. Environmental Code of Ethics
- We uphold local wisdom and environmental conservation. All participants must follow the Leave No Trace principles.
- Strictly prohibited: Littering along the trail, picking or damaging flora (especially Edelweiss flowers), disturbing wildlife, making campfires outside designated areas, or vandalizing national park facilities.
- Our porter team is committed to bringing back all logistical waste we provide down the mountain. We kindly request your cooperation to carry your personal waste.
