Arrival and preparation in Senaru
Upon your arrival in Lombok, our team will pick you up and transfer you to our basecamp in Senaru. We highly recommend a morning pick-up, allowing you to rest and acclimate in the cool mountain climate before the adventure begins. You will settle into a comfortable private room with mountain views before meeting your trekking guide in the evening. They will provide a comprehensive briefing regarding the trek, safety procedures, and a gear check, ensuring you are well-prepared and energized for the journey ahead.

Sembalun village to sembalun Crater Rim
After an early breakfast, we transfer you to the Sembalun Trek Center for registration. The journey takes you through vast, golden savannahs to Pos 2 and Pos 3, where a freshly prepared lunch awaits. Following a restful break, the climb intensifies as we ascend the trail toward the Sembalun Crater Rim at 2,639 meters. We will set up camp here, where you can witness a spectacular sunset over the clouds and gain a clear view of the summit for the next morning.

Summit attack and descen to Smebalun
A pre-dawn wake-up at 2:30 AM begins the summit attack. The challenging climb to the 3,726m peak is rewarded with an epic sunrise offering sweeping views over Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, and the sacred Segara Anak Lake. After celebrating at the peak, we descend to the campsite for a hearty breakfast before trekking back down the same trail to Sembalun Village. You will enjoy a refreshing lunch break along the way before our driver transfers you back to Senaru to collect your luggage and continue to your next destination in Lombok.
